I was born and raised in Prescott Arizona, home of the World's Oldest Rodeo!  I was always drawn to the microphone and performing in general, but never got a chance to explore and expand upon this passion until college, when my friend Kino, who hosted the morning show on the campus station KJACK Radio, invited my roommate and I to join him on the show the following day.  This simple invite would change the course of my entire life.  We continued to join the morning show for several days, but the hosts were often late or refused to show up at all (8:00 AM five days a week is difficult when you're in college) so the faculty advisor offered us the position as full time hosts, and the rest was history.  My favorite memories in college were working for that station, where I hosted several shows, and provided commentary for the men's hockey team and women's basketball teams.  

 

Upon graduation, I began my career as a Cruise Host onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. There I honed my skills as a presenter and host, and eventually went on to work for Disney and Holland America cruise lines in similar capacity.  These positions took me all over the world, and instilled an insatiable love of travel that continues to this day.  After ships I decided it was time to "grow up" and get a real job, and I became a project manager in Tempe Arizona.  While the stability was comfortable, I knew immediately that a 9 to 5 office job wasn't for me, so in 2014 I sold every possession I owned and moved to Alaska to become a tour guide!  It was the best decision I ever made, and I fell so in love with Alaska that I still reside here today.

Working as a guide in Alaska has given me an even greater opportunity to further hone my microphone talents while also affording the opportunity to travel.  That is, until COVID 19 derailed the tourism industry!

In my free time I love to hike, and have been fortunate enough to trek all over the world, from the Andes in Peru to the Camino de Santiago in Spain to treks all over Australia, New Zealand and Nepal.
